The meeting between the two directors Domenico Distilo and Matteo Bonvicino (Machinima specialist) during ARES 2010 encouraged the two authors to fruitfully collaborate on the documentary “Estremi Urbani” (Urban Extremes), which inserts machinima elements in traditional documentary techniques (a production Sciara Srl and Magazzini Einstein – Rai Educational). Between cyberspace and everyday life, the documentary is a window on the controversial spaces of the holy city and the meaning of planning and building in a complex place divided into disputed territories and holy spaces.
